Special Guest Lecture – Prof. Fawzy Elnady

We are delighted to announce that the Elnady Plastination Workshop at the 13th Meeting of the Young Generation of Veterinary Anatomists (YGVA 2026) will feature a special online presentation by Professor Fawzy Elnady from Virginia Tech, USA, the founder of the internationally recognized Elnady plastination technique.

Professor Elnady will present the principles of his innovative plastination method, which has become a valuable and affordable alternative for preparing high-quality anatomical teaching specimens worldwide. Participants will have the unique opportunity to learn directly from the founder of the technique, followed by a practical demonstration of specimen preparation and preservation, as well as discussion of practical tips and experiences with the method.

We are honored to welcome Professor Elnady to YGVA 2026 and look forward to this exceptional educational session.

About the Event

The Young Generation of Veterinary Anatomists (YGVA) Congress represents an opportunity to gain new knowledge, exchange good practices, and enable young researchers to establish collaborations with colleagues from other European universities. This congress will be held in Sarajevo at the Veterinary Faculty, University of Sarajevo, from July 22 to 24, 2026.
